This unforgettable Rockingham Sunset and Stargazing Tour blends science, storytelling, and stargazing into a magical night under the universe's grand canopy. Join us for an evening of celestial wonder and exploration! 

Price of tour: Adults $60 or Child (Aged 8-17) $40  - (includes silent disco gear) - This experience is suitable for ages 8+. 

Children must be accompanied by a parent. 

Duration: 2.5 hours

Start time: Will vary throughout the seasons and will be set based on the time the sunset is expected. The time for each date will be published when booking. Arrive 5 mins before the experience start time. 

​Location: Shoalwater Foreshore Reserve to the left of the playground in the open area. On the corner of Arcadia Drive and Churchill Avenue - facing the beach on the lawned area. 

Note: 24 hours notice will be provided if the tour is cancelled due to severe weather conditions. On some occasions 6 hours will be provided on the day of the tour. If the tour is cancelled you have the option to reschedule to another date, or receive a refund. 

In the Winter Months we save two dates - the date the tour is advertised, and the night after, just in case the scheduled tour date has severe weather conditions. Your ticket will automatically be rescheduled for the following night. Please save both dates if you book for a winter tour.

Hidden deTours is excited to team up with In Culture Tours for a cross cultural truth telling walking tour along the beautiful Rockingham Foreshore using silent disco technology. The FIRST of its kind in Australia! 

This unique tour is hosted by two tour guides from different cultural backgrounds - Monique Boucher from Hidden deTours and Whadjuk tour guide Steven Jacobs. Combined they share stories about First Nations and European history in the area from past to present.

Moordibeedip (Rockingham) is steeped in rich Aboriginal history from over 50,000 years ago. Hear dreamtime stories about how Meendip (Garden Island) came to be and the significance of ceremonies for Noongar people in this area. 

Through the wonder of silent disco headphones Noongar stories, history and culture are brought to life with a musical soundtrack. 

Experience a Welcome to Country, smoke ceremony and sand throwing ceremony on the beach, before we continue our journey along the foreshore. 

Learn about Aboriginal lore and culture, the importance of skin groups, bush medicine, and local food procurement.  

CONTENT WARNING - The impacts of colonisation will be discussed, such as genocide, massacres and the stolen generation, with truth telling at the heart of how we all move forward together in this country. 

A question and answer opportunity is available at the end of the tour for any questions you may have.
